At Sara Modest Swim, we want you to be satisfied with every purchase. If you're not completely happy, you may return or exchange items under the conditions outlined below, in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Return Period

Items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receiving your delivery. Requests received after this period will not be accepted.

2. Conditions for Return and Refund

To qualify for a return or refund, the item must be:

  • Unworn, unused and unwashed
  • In its original packaging
  • Returned with all original tags and labels attached
  • Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase

Returns that do not meet these criteria will be declined.

3. Items Excluded from Return

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Items that have been used, worn, or washed
  • Items missing tags
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Sale items labelled as “Final Sale – No Returns”
  • Swimming Bras/Underwear

4. How to Return an Item

Before sending anything back, contact our support team:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for return
  • A clear photo, if relevant

Once your request is approved, you’ll be provided with return instructions. Return postage is at your own expense, unless the item is faulty or sent in error.

5. Refunds

Refunds will be issued once the returned item is received and inspected. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Note:

  • Refunds apply to the product price only.
  • Shipping fees are not refundable, unless the return is due to our error (e.g. faulty or wrong item).
  • The money will be returned to the same payment method used to purchase, after deducting 5% from the sum of the order.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted for a different size or product, subject to availability. We’ll process your exchange after receiving and approving the return.

If the new item:

  • Costs more – you’ll need to pay the price difference
  • Costs less – the difference will be refunded to you

7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will arrange:

  • A replacement (at no extra cost)
  • A full refund (including original shipping)
  • Or a store credit

You won’t be charged for return shipping in such cases.
